Yoga often begins with asana 'practice' but integrates with life, like breath with body. I have explored deeply and vastly. Learnt various meditation techniques for years, from varied sources and come to the realisation that while others may hold up the lamp, seeing has to be done with our own eyes. We have to walk our walk in yoga, nobody else can do it for you.
The flexibility of the body through asanas is just the tip of the ice berg. It is when a connection (between...) transforms you. A hidden light not sensed or seen before emerges. Sure, I'm officially qualified and have a certificate to teach internationally, but yoga is way beyond courses and certificates, body-bending, body-shaping and physical strength. Yes, these are subsets and usually the first steps, but the journey... oh my!
I integrate yoga (in the form most suitable) with the life and need of the person. Always, always the movement is to the depths of one's being, so that the sacredness and true power of yoga is not reduced to mere exercise. The deep dive sessions include an integration of yoga nidra with the help of live meditative instruments, like the flute, self awareness and a destressing, helping in cleansing and rest at deeper level. Way more effective than a sleeping pill!
The longer workshops involve an integration of Elemental Awareness with the various dimensions of Yoga.
